The German BR 18 was condidered to be the finest four cylinder Pacific steam locomotives operating in Europe. The BR 18 was used for heavy passenger service and was chosen as the official locomotive to pull the famous luxury passenger train "Rheingold" of which passenger coaches are available from Trix. Micro-Metakit produces four versions of this locomotive in extremely small quantities.
