Model: Two-axle stake car, loaded with 2 models of Lanz Bulldogs. Bulldog models come with metal frame and super-structure. One comes with a roof. Stake car comes with brakeman's platform and movable brake handle. Numerous separately applied parts such as brake shoes, etc. Minimum radius required for operation 1,020 mm / 40-5/32". Length over buffers 37.5 cm / 14-3/4".

The progressive model HR8 Lanz Bulldog was built as early as 1936 and was constantly improved up to the middle of the 1950s. The motor was a large, single cylinder, two cycle medium compression surface ignition design with a displacement of 10.3 liters or approximately 629 cubic inches and 45 horsepower at 630 rpm. It created a striking background of noise where you could count the cylinder strokes. An immense flywheel enhanced the flow of power. This motor was able to use a wide variety of fuels that included paraffin oil, lignite tar oil, shale tar oil, kerosene, etc.
