Prototype: Heavy general purpose locomotive class GG-1 of the Consolidated Rail Co. (Conrail). Wheel arrangement 4-6-6-4 special version "Stars and Stripes".
Model: Both power trucks are hinge-mounted and powered with all driving axles. Couplers are hinged with the trailing truck. Large pantographs with elevated arm. Lighting with maintenance-free LEDs. Negotiable minimum radius 195 mm / 7-11/16". Length over couplings 115 mm / 4-17/32".
