When it comes to modeling European trains one
of the more popular Eras to model is Era I. Era I is desirable because
it deals with many of the private state railways from the years 1835 to
1925. The Bavarian State Railways is among the most exciting railways
to model because they incorporated so many unique steam locomotives. The
S3/5 was used in heavy express service hauling express trains between
Munich and Regensburg. Micro-Metakit's model is completely functional just like the prototype. The model has a functional 4 cylinder drive like the original. It also features a brushless, ironless "Faulhaber" motor, full cab interior, functional boiler hatch with inner boiler details. The S3/5 is a masterpiece and has too many technical and optical details to list. Quantities are limited so don't wait too long to order. The S3/5 is handmade out of brass and available in 6 versions. Only a total of 300 will be produced, so some versions as little as only 20 will be made. These models are very limited so reserve one today. We expect to take delivery sometime in July 2002. |
