The Austrian 380 Class 2-10-0 steam locomotive was one of the most equisite locomotives of its time. It was designed by the famous Austrian locomotive builder Larl Gölsdorf who also designed the famous 110, 180, 210, 310, and etc. The prototype features a sloped boiler and angled up pistons. It was used for heavy freight service on mountainous terrain. The 380 was also used to pull the famous "Orient Express". During WWII, when the Germans occupied Austria, the Deutsche Reichsbahn renumbered these locomotives to BR 58.9 and painted them in the DRG black and red livery. The 380 is handmade out of brass with replicated and functional 4 cylinder drive. It is equipped with a brushless, ironless "Faulhaber" motor, full cab interior, functional boiler hatch with inner boiler details.
