    Model: As a special feature, the new machine has a 180 kW auxiliary diesel engine, with which it is able to overrun short, not overcurrent overhead line sections at about 50 km / h. The locomotive was developed using constructive experience with the US hybrid locomotive ALP-45DP. The private EVU LTE uses the BR 187 with Lastmile package internationally.
