The technically sophisticated and contemporary PIKO Expert model of the ÖBB BR 1010 is characterized by a precise implementation of its prototype locomotive with the finest paintwork and printing. The model precisely implements the prototype of the locomotive 1010 013-9 with all the relevant details, including old bogie cross members, filigree pantographs with matching fine insulators, small fans, free-standing grab bars fitted as standard and dimmable headlights. Equipped with a powerful five-pole motor combined with two precisely balanced flywheels, the PIKO model impresses with its high tractive power, excellent smoothness and prototypical maximum speed.
