American Z Line is excited to announce the preproduction run of EMD GP7s. The first roadnames to be releases are Pennsylvania and Union Pacific. The locomotives feature a 8mm Faulhauber can motor, dual flywheels, traction tire, LED directional controlled lighting, prototype specific details, optional body mount couplers with pilots and come DCC ready. Three road numbers available 102, 113, and 122.

About the GP7:
The EMD GP7 is a four-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division and General Motors Diesel between October, 1949 and May 1954. Of the 2,729 GP7s built, 2,615 were for American railroads, 112 were for Canadian railroads, and 2 were for Mexican railroads
