Information about the model
The Austrian Federal Railways (BBÖ) were transferred to the German Reichsbahn by law on March 18, 1938, and the Federal Railway Directorates were converted into Reichsbahn Directorates. The Reichsbahn Central Office in Berlin issued a renumbering plan for all BBÖ locomotives on November 25, 1938. This plan stipulated that the Class 178 locomotives would become Class 92.22, with the operating numbers 92 2211 to 92 2294.
