Prototype: Four of the VT 137 vehicles from the BC4vT 32-34 range that remained with SNCF in France were also put back into operation following the war. They obtained the numbers XR 8831-8834 and the red-beige paint coat as is customary in France. At the end of its operating life, the railcars were converted into trailer cars and drawn with diesel locomotives.
