Product Features and Details
The Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft DRG was nationalised in 1937, and the DRG's headquarters was integrated in the German Ministry of Transport. The former Director General of the Reichsbahn was then appointed as Minister for Transport. This change of ownership was soon documented by modified lettering on the vehicles. The DRG emblem on the passenger carriages was replaced by a stylised German eagle on the carriage sides. Thus equipped, the "Iron Prussians" ran behind the streamlined series 06 and 19.10 locomotives.
