Product Features and Details
In the 1930s, the DRG made efforts to improve passenger traffic in order to face up to the competition from the emerging road transport. In addition to numerous reduced journey times and new vehicles for express train and passenger train services, customer service was also to be improved. To this end, for use in fast stopping trains and express trains over short distances, several Prussian vestibule coaches were equipped with a kitchen compartment which ensured that passengers were supplied with food and drinks.
