Product Features and Details
In 1955 the rebuild car programme began at the DB, in which the bogies of the old state railway passenger train coaches were standardised in terms of size and combined with new car bodies. Initially, only three-axle cars were converted, but as a result also three four-axle types designed. To meet the demand for bogies necessary for this, the last four-axle compartment coaches of the DB were put out of service by 1958.
