Between 1910 and 1922, the KPEV acquired a total of 330 luggage cars of iron type construction. Many cars were taken over by the DRG. Because of the large number of cars, they were scattered throughout the whole of Germany. They were typical features of express trains until the end of the nineteen twenties.
