Prototype:
The Wurttemberg freight cars with 3.6 m axle base and two platforms also included numerous inflammable material cars. They were used to transport goods which posed a fire hazard.
There were strict regulations governing the loading, handling and setting of the trains used to transport inflammable goods. For example, the cars, especially the roof and the braking system, needed to be in a particularly good condition and had to be inspected by the train personnel before each journey. Between the cars and the locomotive there needed to be at least four cars and the cars were not allowed to be loaded at the goods shed.
