As a result, the ?Kohlensäure Industrie Dr. Raydt? was founded in 1881 which operated throughout the whole of Germany producing and selling carbon dioxide. In Royal Württemberg and Hohenzollern, carbon dioxide was conveyed and exported near Eyach.
