Product Features and Details
Covered freight cars of Class A2 were acquired by all state railway administrations from 1912 onwards. In 1920, the newly founded DRG took over 110,203 cars. In addition to the versions with and without a handbrake, there was initially also a version with more loading and ventilation openings for transporting fruit and vegetables. Unlike in Italy (BRAWA new products 48550-48553), this version was not able to establish itself in Germany. The cars were later adapted to the others and allocated to the groupings "Kassel" (since 1926 as "K") and München.
