Product Features and Details
From 1911 onwards, the German state railway administrations began to standardise the main freight cars in the association class committee and to commonly acquire them according to these designations. This was intended to facilitate stockkeeping of replacement parts and use. Prussian features were adopted for most designs. Therefore the covered car of Class A2 hardly differed from its forerunner according too sample sheet IId8.
