Product Features and Details
Following the example of the museum "Dimitrias", which has been part of the Feldbahn Museum in Frankfurt am Main since 1994. Wheel alignment B. Length: 42 mm.
The model comes from the workshop of the French field pioneer Paul Decauville (1846 - 1922), who developed a separate railway system consisting of rails, lorries and locomotives from 1875 onwards. Because of its spread and long running time in different epochs, this steam locomotive is universally suitable for many applications such as the Waldbahn, the Ziegeleibahn, the tourist train, the tram, the opencast mine and the army field railway. Today, four of these robust locomotives are still preserved. One of them can be admired in the Frankfurter Feldbahnmuseum (www.feldbahn-ffm.de). The vehicle from the early 20th century has a service weight of 6, 5 tons and a power of 20 hp. Typical are the large waterboxes, which allow the locomotive a considerable radius of action. Many details, such as the construction with an external frame, are perfectly implemented in the model. The filigree drive rods are even fully mobile. New (larger) wagons for a variety of transports round off this new development, although the steam engine can, of course, pull all the wagons out of the Buschfeld railway range.
