Product Features and Details
The serial production of the TLF16 GMK (all-metal case) presented by the VEB Feuerlöschgerätewerk Luckenwalde in 1984 began on the W50 all-wheel drive chassis in 1985. The vehicle was equipped with the double cab in a full-steel construction for a crew of 6 men and received an additional foam jet tube with change-over device as well as a trunk assembly with aluminum roller shutters deviating from the previous model TLF16. The model is now produced according to the standard color red from the last year in the color scheme with a white belly band and the red lettering "fire brigade" prescribed by the »design principles for the dual coloring of vehicles of the fire brigade«. This coloring was tested in Berlin in 1984 and then published three years later by the MdI (Ministry of the Interior) in the design principles.
