Locomotive and tender frame and body constructed of mostly metal. The locomotive can be operated with AC power, Marklin Delta, Marklin Digital, or Marklin Systems. Drive on five axles. The triple headlights are maintenance-free, white LEDs that change with direction of travel. Minimum radius for operation 40-5/32".
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 41 steam locomotive with a new design high-efficiency boiler and a type 2´2´T34 oil tender as the locomotive and tender looked in Era III.
