Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) class 232, C-C wheel arrangement, built starting in 1974 in the USSR for the German State Railroad (East Germany), nicknamed "Ludmilla". Equipped with new motors starting in 1992 at the Cottbus maintenance facility for passenger service at 140 km/h / 88 mph. Use: Heavy passenger and freight trains.
Model: Era V. One locomotive is powered, has a built-in DCC/Selectrix decoder with automatic system and analog recognition. It has a can motor with a flywheel and 4 axles powered. The second locomotive is a non-powered dummy and has a built-in sound module. The diesel operating sounds, horn, and other sounds can be controlled digitally with Trix Systems or DCC. The headlights on both locomotives will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally; the headlights between the two locomotives are non-functioning as in the prototype. Both locomotives are permanently coupled together. Length over the buffers 255 mm / 10-1/6".
