Class 151F-3101 "Santa Fe" steam locomotive with tender, RENFE Railway Museum Villanova y la Geltrú edition, Era V-VI with BLE decoder. Santa Fe RENFE 151F-3101 – Museum Version. Locomotive 151F-3101 was built in 1942 at the Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima workshops in Barcelona. With a power output of 3,960 hp and a speed of 90-100 km/h, it is the only one of the 22 locomotives built to be preserved today at the Railway Museum of Catalonia in Vilanova i la Geltrú. This version features some red-painted parts, such as buffers, smoke stack edges, frame lines, shut-off valves, and several gold-colored pipes.
The model features a high-end sound decoder and a factory-installed smoke generator that produces realistic steam and smoke from the smokestack using distilled water, completely eliminating the smell that normal smoke units produce. The smoke is synchronized with the locomotive's sound and wheel motion via a built-in sensor, ensuring that every chuff and puff matches the engine's action perfectly.
