Be heart and soul. Signal-red fire station similar to the original built in Oberndorf on the Neckar, comprised of a two-storey front building with administrative and social rooms as well as an adjacent hall with four parking spaces for fire engines, and for use as workshop or washing hall. A striking administrative wing: in that horizontal bloc with roofed terrace and modern strips of windows, the glazed building corner with folded concrete stairs at the entrance to the radio control station creates an animated play of light and shade. A transparent vehicle hall: in the second flat-roof construction where the heavy fire engines turn out and return everyday, the glazed multiple-leave folding doors without transom let daylight generously penetrate into the halls. Openings of gates on the front and rear sides allow the use of FALLER Car System.

The floor is not solid but made of strips joining the front to back walls between the "Door Posts". This allows the running of Faller car system guide wire from back to front, allowing vehicles to drive from/through the station. It does however make it difficult to keep the joining strips and the walls/roof "squared-up" while waiting for the glue to dry. Also the doors can only be open or closed as they are glued into position. The solar power panels on the roof look nice with the "Tarmac" style covering on the roof but positioning the panels has to be done first to let the glue set with panels level, adding the loose stone covering is then difficult as any misplaced glue will stick the stones in the wrong position. Otherwise a nice looking modern engine hall and admin building (I have not made this building yet)
