I ordered this curved turnout thinking it would work with a longer diesel engine with 3 axles on each end; however, it was too sharp and the engine derailed every time. I doubt this would work with any steams with more than 3 main axles, or long wheel bases. You should definately test this on your bench with your longest motive power before installing.
