With the timetable change in December 2016, ÖBB put the Europe-wide night train offer into operation under the brand name Nightjet. Nightjet (NJ) has been a train genre since December 2017. The redesign of the trolleys was realized with adhesive films. The striking design is designed in night blue with a indicated starry sky.
The cars previously designed in the Nightjet design received a revision. Instead of the foiling, a paint job in the colors of the latest Nightjet version was given preference. The starry sky used so far is snow from yesterday.
