One-time edition with certificate
In 1971, the VEB Waggonbau Görlitz delivered two prototypes of the single-decker double truck to the DR. From the double-deck individual cars, more flexible adjustments were promised to changing passenger volumes as well as savings in damage. After the extensive testing of the two prototypes, a first series of around 138 vehicles was delivered from 1974.
