The locomotive 01 150 was delivered in 1935 by the locomotive manufacturer Henschel & Sohn in Kassel with the factory number 22698. She initially earned her money through hard work on the low mountain routes in Hesse and Thuringia - from Bebra. She remained loyal to her Hesse homeland for thirty years. Darmstadt, Hanau, Frankfurt/M, Wiesbaden and Giessen were their stations and the main railways on the Rhine and Lahn, over the Spessart Heights and the Wetterau were their territory. She was decommissioned in Hof in November 1973.
