Habis wagons can load up to 46 standard pallets (1200 x 800 mm) for a payload of 44 tonnes.
Since 1974, the Société des Eaux de Volvic (SEV) bottling plant has been located in Chaucet, along the line from Riom to Chatel-Guyon (Puy de Dôme). A significant part of the production of water bottles is shipped by rail to the warehouses or stores of customers connected to the rail.
