Kit Prototype data: The GOTTWALD company developed a special transport vehicle with the designation TR 800-93 for the transport of the largest telescopic crane in the world, AKM 1000-103. This 9-axle vehicle is powered by a MERCEDES-BENZ diesel engine with 12 cylinders and a power of 452 kW / 615 hp. A lifting and shifting device is mounted on the upper side of the chassis. It allows the boom to be aligned with the crane. The device simultaneously serves as a support and attachment of the boom to the vehicle during transport. In the construction of the telescopic crane, the transport vehicle approaches it. The telescopic mast is then bolted and lifted with the jib foot of the crane.
