Model: of the field railway locomotive "CHLOE" of the Grizzly Flats Railroad in California. Finely detailed execution in prototypical coloring and inscription. Drive on both sets of drive wheels by a powerful ball-bearing motor. Top signal illuminated. Engine driver figure attached. Length over buffer 28 cm.
This Baldwin-built locomotive was used until the 40s in sugarcane transport in Hawaii. Then the locomotive came to the Grizzly Flats Railroad, a heritage railroad near San Gabriel, California. There, the locomotive - along with matching passenger cars - was in use until 2006 and has since been in the Orange Empire Railway Museum near San Bernadino in California.
