These covered freight wagons were originally procured in the early 1940s for the Austrian narrow-gauge railways and were still in use there for a long time. However, some of the wagons came to other railway companies and also to various museum railways, which use such cars primarily for transporting bicycles. The prototype of our LGB museum car is in use on the Öchsle Museum Railway – which runs between Warthausen and Ochsenhausen in Upper Swabia – in the same design as the model and refers to the 125th anniversary of this railway.
