In 1930 the German State Railroad Company procured three freight railcars with numbers 10001-10 003 They were preferably used in cargo-speed traffic. The first maroon painted cars had the same drive concept such as the railcar VT 857-859, which were also produced at the wagon factory Wismar. The cars were equipped with a motor bogie and a trailer bogie. The engine was mounted directly to the gearbox on the bogie. The force transfer took coupling rod and a jackshaft. Yet all three came railcars to DB and were referred to as VT 69900-902. In 1962, the last rail car was retired.
