Prototype: Double Unit Diesel Railcar series 628.4 / 928.4 of the Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG), epoche V. version in the coloring mint turquoise / light gray with train destination indication "Heidelberg", company numbers: 628 443-4 and 928 443-2; Operating mode around 1994.
Our prototype 628 443-4 / 928 443-2 (operating condition 1994) with the train destination "Heidelberg" was delivered in March 1994 with the older DB logo, was initially stationed in Giessen and drove among other things as RB 7932 on a part of the Neckartalbahn (From Heidelberg via Eberbach and Mosbach to Bad Friedrichshall), namely the approximately 18 km long section Heidelberg - Neckargemünd, which was built in 1862 as part of the Badische Odenwaldbahn (current DB course book 705).
Model: with Next18 interface according to NEM 662 for recording a digital decoder; Prepared for installation of sound decoders and speakers. Motor with flywheel; Drive on four wheels, two of them with brakes to increase traction. Current consumption of all 16 wheels, optionally switchable to 8 wheels of the leading unit for stop function before signals (in currentless sections). Three-light LED peak signal / two tail lights with the direction of travel changing (white / red). Both cars equipped with interior fittings, Illuminated drawing signs, switchable with interior lighting. Recommended minimum radius: 192 mm.
