Product Features and Details
Prototype:
Heavy goods freight train locomotive type Gt 2x4/4 of the royal Bavarian State Railway (K.Bay.Sts.B.). Mallet design incorporating both high and low pressure cylinders.
Model: At the entrance to Berlin: The Kingdom of Bavaria is history. The magic anniversary number (200) refers to the date of the coronation/culmination, when the prince with Napoleons' sympathetic consideration proclaimed itself 1805 to the Bavarian king Maximilian Ist Josef. The cultural upswing began then under king Ludwig I., who Maximilian II. and the fairy tale king Ludwig II. followed. What makes history so interesting to us are the Royal Bavarian State Railways, to which we owe some of the most beautiful models. We celebrate the anniversary with a unique series of the articulated Gt 2x4/4 Mallet design.
