The Model: The Marklin Rheingold set #39370.002 represents an electric locomotive of the Deutsche Bahn AG Class 101 in the beige and red "Rheingold" livery from Era VI. This digital model features a powerful 5-star DCM motor and is equipped with a Märklin MFX+ decoder with sound functions. The lighting consists of maintenance-free LEDs. This Rheingold locomotive from Märklin is a special edition by the retailer association "De Wilde 13."

Prototype: The Class 101 locomotives were designed by ADtranz. Each locomotive has a weight of 83 tons and a maximum speed of 220 km/h.
