Prototype: A type Fad 165 (former OOtz 44) four-axle hopper car. Version with a low upper superstructure and a brakeman’s platform. Standard design, pressed sheet-metal trucks without welded underframes. Privately owned car of Märklin Magazin Göppingen, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). The car looks as it did around 1990.
Model: The cars have load inserts of iron ore in scale-sized grains. Length over the buffers 11.5 cm / 4-1/2". DC wheel set E700580. Trix Express wheel set E258259.
