Model: The locomotive is new tooling for the first production run of the class Gt 2 x 4/4. It has a motor with a bell-shaped armature. The body is cast by hand in bronze. This is a finely painted and imprinted unit with articulated running gear for negotiating curves. All the driving wheels are powered. There are double headlights with warm white LEDs that change over with the direction of travel. The valve gear and rods are finely detailed. There are imitations of brake rigging and rail clearance devices. The minimum curve for operation is Radius 145 mm / 5-11/16".Length over the buffers 81 mm / 3-3/16".
Prototype: Class Gt 2 x 4/4 heavy freight locomotive. Mallet design articulated locomotive with compound running gear consisting of high- and low-pressure cylinders. The locomotive looks as it did around 1913 in a brownish beige photo paint scheme.
