Product Features and Details
Prototype: The kkStB Class 73 were Austrian built locomotives operated by the Imperial Royal Austrian State Railways (kaiserlich-königliche österreichische Staatsbahnen), or k.k.StB, for freight duties. The class 73 was also sold to many other countries because it was a very efficient and successful design. In the 1930's the German Deutsche Reichsbahn re-numbered all the Austrian locomotives and reclassified the class 73 to the BR 55.
Model: Micro Metakit's new BR 55 is a unique and highly detailed model. Model is equipped with a high efficiency brushless can motor with flywheel, sprung loaded buffers and fully functional inner cylinders drive rods. Model is handmade in brass and features full cab interior, Nazi flags and a wreath with a portrait of Hitler. This model is a masterpiece and it features too many technical and optical details to list. This model would make a nice addition to collectors of WWII models.
Only 10 locomotives were produced worldwide
