New in 2024: The BR 193 “Vectron†in the “Lago di Lugano†design of the SBB in era VI. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a high-precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and features proven PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor with two large flywheels ensures excellent running properties. The tractive force of the locomotive, which is powered by all four axles, is increased by two traction tires that sit diagonally to one another on the internal axles of both bogies. The headlights and tail lamps are illuminated via LEDs, whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The externally elegant appearance of this model includes an exactly reproduced technical roof landscape and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. Thanks to the modern PluX22 interface and sufficient space on the circuit board, the model is perfectly prepared for retrofitting a decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker.
