Product Features and Details
Early in the twentieth century, the Central Railroad of New Jersey set out to create a train offering a new level of luxury and comfort, whisking travelers rapidly to and from the resorts of Atlantic City. The result of these efforts was named The Blue Comet.
Model: The passengers cars wear the framed two-toned blue, with a cream window band. As with the locomotive and tender, the metal car wheels are decorated in matching red. Clerestory and transom windows include a “stained glass” pattern. Each car is lettered accurately after a different car name and number from the real Blue Comet train.
