Product Features and Details
New for 2022: Print version of the 2nd class passenger car of the DB AG in mint green paint from Era V. Railway fans refer to a family of local rail cars from the Deutsche Bundesbahn as a Silberling. The vehicles owe their name "Silberlinge" to their stainless steel car body. Over 5000 copies were built between 1961 and 1980 and were to be found at DB Regio until the beginning of 2020. The wagons are also often referred to as n-wagons based on their subsidiary symbol. With the n-car, PIKO has added a type of vehicle to its range that is a must on practically every model railroad whose topic is part of the Federal Railroad or DB AG. As with the prototype, the models also differ, depending on the car class, in window layout and interior design; the pitches have been implemented prototypically in size N. Mold construction at the highest level ensures bogies that look extremely plastic and the high-quality paintwork and printing that PIKO is used to give the vehicles an excellent finish. The vehicles are prepared for the uncomplicated retrofitting of interior lighting.
