Product Features and Details
Novelty 2025: DB conversion car pair with prototypical paint scheme and lettering for Era IV, consisting of a 1st class and a 2nd class car.Starting in the mid-1950s, two passenger train car series were created on the German Federal Railroad by converting state railway compartment cars, which are referred to as conversion cars. Unlike the prototype, existing parts were not used for the PIKO models of the three-axle conversion coaches. The coaches are completely new designs. The true-to-scale vehicles reproduce the original down to the smallest detail. Individually attached grab rails are just as much a part of the contemporary design as flush-fitting, crystal-clear windows and detailed interior fittings. The loving design continues on the carriage floor. Among other things, it impresses with free-standing lines and a filigree brake linkage. Like the prototype, the N conversion wagons also appear on the market as short-coupled pairs and have a prototypical distance between the wagons.
