Novelty 2025: The large sides and the smooth roof of the class 152 epitomise the locomotive construction of the 1990s. This overall appearance is excellently reproduced by the new PIKO model on a scale of 1:160. Great importance was also attached to the details in the design: The tidy roof area is crowned by the two delicately crafted single-arm pantographs made of metal. The flush-mounted windows provide a view into the drivers cab, while the fine, free-standing windscreen wipers emphasise the delicate implementation of the model. The separately attached handrails, the detailed bogies and the prototypical printing round off the external impression perfectly. The BR 152 is also impressive in technical terms and boasts high tractive power and very smooth running. This makes it ideal for use in front of true-to-original goods trains. The light change in red and white is of course implemented in modern LED technology. A Next18 interface is available on the tidy circuit board for the uncomplicated retrofitting of a PIKO digital decoder. This makes it possible to switch additional digital functions.
