With the new design of the DR PIKO BR 83.10, there is for the first time a large-scale model of this extraordinary locomotive type in the nominal size TT. In keeping with the particularity of the prototype, the finely detailed PIKO model can present itself as an outstanding locomotive.
The striking machine in the design with three domes and triple headlights impresses with the outstandingly successful implementation of the prototype proportions and comes up with numerous extra parts: fine lines, smoke deflectors, bell, whistle, lid of the water boxes, alternator, steps to the buffer beam, ladders, Hand bars, heating cables and sand pipes.
The fine spoked wheels, the filigree controls and the detailed cab interior including fire box lighting make the locomotive an eye-catcher on the layout.
The PIKO BR 83.10 is also technically state-of-the-art and has driver's cab and chassis lighting. The powerful motor, in combination with two built-in traction tires, ensures sufficient traction to cover all prototypical train compositions. The model also comes with brake hoses and tow hooks.
