Product Features and Details
New for 2022: The large side surfaces and the smooth roof of the 152 series embody the locomotive construction of the 1990s. The new PIKO model on a scale of 1:87 perfectly reproduces this overall appearance. Just as great importance was attached to details in the design and toolmaking process: this is emphasized by the extremely three-dimensional engravings of the ventilation grilles and the bogies with an excellent visual depth effect. Technically, the model continues the line of the PIKO constructions. A powerful mid-engine is used as the drive, two flywheels also cultivate the running properties and traction tires arranged diagonally enable heavy loads to be transported. In digital mode, the cab lighting can be switched digitally. The sound version of the locomotive has a PSD XP 5.1 sound decoder of the latest generation ex works. As a further highlight, the BR 151 has PIKO TrainSound onboard.
