Novelty 2024: Form variant of the Rh 1018 of the OBB in Era III. The model appears as a variant without tail lights, with twelve sandboxes and buffer beams in the original version. The fir green paintwork with reseda green decorative stripes characterizes the external appearance, which is rounded off by the engraved OBB impeller on the front below the front windows. The model is factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker and has digitally switchable lighting in the engine room and the driver's cab. The model bears the “fits mfx†quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Marklin digital centers, a new quality mark fits mfx was introduced together with Marklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed carry the fits mfx quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx†logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx.
