The harmonious lighting in the two driver's cabs and in the engine room can be controlled digitally and perfectly showcases the locomotive's interior. For this purpose, a PSD XP sound decoder is installed ex works, including the largest possible loudspeaker for excellent sound reproduction. The model bears the “fits mfx†quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Marklin digital centers, a new quality mark fits mfx was introduced together with Marklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed carry the fits mfx quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx†logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx.
