New for 2022: Variant of the BR 191 as BR E 91 of the DRG in Era II. Electric locomotives with rod drives are among the highlights on the model railway layout. The often archaic exterior and the visible power transmission exude the fascination of past railway epochs. PIKO captured this perfectly and transferred it to a scale of 1:87. The constructive symbiosis of excellent model implementation and excellent driving characteristics characterize the newly developed PIKO E 91. The sharp engravings on the case, paired with extremely fine printing and garnished with extremely filigree pantographs, make the locomotive a real gem. It draws power from a five-pole PIKO motor, two finely balanced flywheels ensure continuous travel even on difficult track conditions. It goes without saying that the model has LED lighting with red rear lighting. Additional lighting functions can be switched using the mfx -capable PluX22 sound decoder, which is already integrated in the sound version.
