Product Features and Details
New in 2024: The German bread-and-butter locomotive in the version as the BR 211 Solvay in Era V. During the design, the specific features of the prototype were taken into account and precisely transferred to the model. A special eye-catcher is the locomotive's cooling system with finely etched grilles and the fan wheel visible underneath. The three-dimensional engravings on the stems and driver's cab further structure the functional vehicle structure. The overall impression is rounded off by the delicate bogies with numerous attached parts. The model has switchable lighting for the driver's cab and the instrument panel ex works. Thanks to the factory-integrated PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker, the sound of the model also comes into its own perfectly on the model railway layout. The model bears the “fits mfx†quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Marklin digital centers, a new quality mark fits mfx was introduced together with Marklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the fits mfx quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx†logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx.
